TechSuite summary (internal — not shown to the customer)

DIAGNOSTIC SUMMARY - Ticket 69360 (Amber McVeigh) CRITICAL ISSUES: - System File Checker failed to start repair service - Windows Resource Protection unavailable. This indicates potential system file corruption or access issues that should be investigated further. - Recent app crashes: 29 incidents detected. High frequency of application failures suggests possible driver conflicts, memory issues, or corrupted system files. STORAGE CONCERNS: - Drive C: only 12% capacity remaining (475GB total). This is critically low and will impact system performance and stability. Recommend immediate cleanup or storage expansion. - Multiple storage drives present with varying formats (NTFS, exFAT, FAT). Verify all drives are functioning properly and data is backed up. NOTABLE FINDINGS: - HDD SMART info check returned "No drivers were found" - unable to verify hard drive health status. Recommend checking SMART status manually or replacing diagnostic tool. - Device Manager and other diagnostic tools returned incomplete or CSS-formatted output rather than readable system data - possible reporting tool issue or system instability during scan. RECOMMENDATIONS: - Free up disk space on C: drive immediately (target 20-30% free space minimum) - Investigate cause of 29 recent app crashes (check Event Viewer for error codes) - Attempt System File Checker repair using elevated command prompt or Windows Recovery Environment - Verify hard drive health using alternative SMART monitoring tool - Consider running full malware scan given system instability indicators

Repair options (the quote)

Options are shown to the customer as a ladder: your Recommended pick first, then the rest priciest to cheapest, with the Minimum last. Most options need no label at all — the price and your description carry them. Only one option should be Recommended.

    Customer-facing diagnostic summary:
Hello Amber, we have completed our checks on your device and found that the cause of the system not charging or powering on is due to a dead charger from the storm. We were able to plug up our testing charger and the unit showed it was charging and powered on. We completed our diagnostics on the unit and confirmed all other parts of the machine are working as expected. We did find during our testing this device only has 8GB of RAM and is using 70% of this at idle when the unit starts up. We recommend 16GB of RAM for daily use machines with Windows 11. Below are options for repair and upgrade of your device.
