TechSuite summary (internal — not shown to the customer)

DIAGNOSTIC SUMMARY - Ticket 69277 (Jackson Schreyer) CRITICAL ISSUES: - System File Checker failed: Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service. This indicates potential system file integrity issues that cannot be automatically repaired. - Recent app crashes detected: 39 crashes recorded. This is a significant number and warrants investigation into specific application stability. DISK SPACE WARNING: - Drive C: only 12% capacity remaining (approximately 951GB total with minimal free space). This is approaching critical threshold and can impact system performance and stability. Recommend cleanup or storage expansion. NOTABLE FINDINGS: - View HDD SMART Info tool returned: "No drivers were found on this system." This is unusual and may indicate SMART monitoring capability is not available or drivers are missing. - ACE-BASE anti-cheat driver detected and loaded. This is associated with gaming/anti-cheat software and is normal if customer uses games with anti-cheat systems. - Multiple storage devices detected: C drive (NTFS), D drive (exFAT), E drive (FAT), F drive (exFAT). E drive shows 0GB capacity, which may indicate a disconnected or failed drive. RECOMMENDATION: Address the System File Checker failure as priority. Run additional system diagnostics and consider system repair or reinstall if corruption is confirmed. Clean up disk space on C drive immediately to prevent further stability issues.

Repair options (the quote)

Options are shown to the customer as a ladder: your Recommended pick first, then the rest priciest to cheapest, with the Minimum last. Most options need no label at all — the price and your description carry them. Only one option should be Recommended.

We would completed a full thermal cleaning of the system, upgrade the 1TB NVMe to a 2TB NVMe while copying all of your files over the new drive. We would also replace your failed stick of DDR5 with a new 32GB kit, as currently based on our pricing our 32GB kit is cheaper than a single 16GB stick right now. We have these parts in store and can have this repair completed in about 2 business days from approval.

    Customer-facing diagnostic summary:
Hello Jackson, we have completed our checks on your device and found the cause of your issue along with another area of upgrade we would recommend. During our tests we found one of your 16GB DDR5 sticks has failed. We were able to test them one at a time in your system and with one stick installed, the system will POST and display out. With the other stick in the system, it will just sit at a black screen. We then pulled a new 32GB kit from our inventory and tested in your system and the new 32GB kit works just fine. So we know that both of the slots in your system are good, just have a bad stick. We completed the rest of our testing and found that the 1TB NVMe SSD in your system is 88% full and is reporting wear indicators. Wear indicators are just indications that the drive has started to move bad blocks around on the drive to stay alive and keep from writing data to those bad blocks. When this happens, it is wise to backup your data and either replace the drive right away to prevent data loss or performance issues, or back everything up and remove things from the drive so the drive has more free space to work with and more good blocks to work with. We also noted the system was dusty internally and temperatures under load are in the upper 90"s for the CPU and lower 90"s for the GPU. We would recommend a thermal cleaning to clean out the heatsinks and clean and reapply thermal paste, pads, and liquid metal on the system to get the temperatures lower and the system more stable under load. Below are some repair options for you.
