TechSuite summary (internal — not shown to the customer)
DIAGNOSTIC SUMMARY - Ticket 69241 (Tom Sylvester) CRITICAL ISSUES: - System File Checker failed to start repair service. This indicates potential system file corruption or permission issues that should be investigated further. NOTABLE FINDINGS: - 4 recent application crashes detected. Review crash logs to identify patterns or problematic software. - SSD health status normal. Samsung 870 EVO showing all SMART attributes within acceptable ranges. Temperature at 35°C is good. No reallocated sectors or uncorrectable errors detected. - Disk space usage is acceptable across all drives. C: drive at 463GB capacity (not critically full), E: and G: drives have adequate space. - No blue screen events detected in recent history. - Restore point was successfully created for future recovery options. RECOMMENDATION: Investigate the System File Checker failure and recent app crashes. Consider running SFC in Safe Mode or using DISM to repair system images if file corruption is suspected. Request customer feedback on which applications are crashing for targeted troubleshooting.
Options are shown to the customer as a ladder: your Recommended pick first, then the rest priciest to cheapest, with the Minimum last. Most options need no label at all — the price and your description carry them. Only one option should be Recommended.
Save stores your work on the customer portal without notifying anyone. Preview saves, then shows you exactly what the customer will see. Publish locks it in, posts the quote to the RepairShopr ticket, and sets it to Quote Ready so the customer gets their link.
Photos of the device as it came in — pre-existing damage, condition, anything worth a record. These appear to the customer as soon as they upload. Remove one if it shouldn't be there.

Published to the customer portal. Repair Portal Update Published Customer-facing status: Checked In Customer-facing diagnostic summary: Hello Tom, this is Anthony from The Computer Warriors. We completed the checks on your device late Friday evening right before we closed and we're in the middle of getting part prices together when we closed at 6pm. We found during the checks that the device would need a new Lid and Hinge assembly to repair the broken area that you have taped up, along with the battery in fair condition and starting to bloat. With all of this work needing to be done to the unit, I would recommend replacing the unit. Below I have options for repair and replacement of your device. We have some devices out currently that start at $579.95 and will have more going out later this week that should be in the same price range.
