    Hello Doug, I have completed my checks for your device and found no physical or liquid damage that would cause the middle row of the keyboard not to function correctly. This is going to be a failed keyboard and it would require a palmrest replacement to repair. During the rest of our tests, the system did report the battery is in fair health at 70% life. So we do have a repair option with a new battery as well listed below.
