TechSuite summary (internal — not shown to the customer)
DIAGNOSTIC SUMMARY - Ticket 69127 (Gavin Ruiz) CRITICAL ISSUES FOUND: - System File Checker failed: "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service" - indicates potential system file corruption or WRP service failure. Recommend manual SFC scan or system repair. - View HDD SMART Info returned no data: "No drivers were found on this system" - SMART monitoring unavailable, cannot verify hard drive health status. Storage devices may not be properly detected or drivers are missing. NOTABLE FINDINGS: - Most diagnostic tools returned unreadable output (Tailwind CSS formatting instead of results) - suggests possible reporting tool malfunction or data corruption in diagnostic logs. Recommend re-running diagnostics to obtain valid results. - Installed Drivers list appears complete with standard Windows drivers present (ACPI, audio, storage controllers all accounted for). - Storage configuration shows multiple drives with mixed file systems (NTFS, exFAT, FAT) - verify all partitions are accessible and functioning normally. RECOMMENDATION: Re-run full diagnostics with focus on system file integrity and hard drive detection. Address WRP service failure before attempting additional repairs. Verify SMART monitoring capability is restored.
Options are shown to the customer as a ladder: your Recommended pick first, then the rest priciest to cheapest, with the Minimum last. Most options need no label at all — the price and your description carry them. Only one option should be Recommended.

Customer Approved Repair Through Portal Approved option: None Approved price: $474.85 Customer-facing summary: We would replace the failing internal SSD with a brand new 1TB NVMe SSD and do a complete and clean install of Windows 11. We also found this gaming laptop only has 8GB of RAM, so we would add another 8GB to give the system a total of 16GB to give it more hardware resources to use during gaming sessions. We also saw the charger has tape on it and some damage to the cabling, so we can also get a replacement charger for the unit to bring the unit back fully up to speed and function. The parts would take 3 to 5 business days to arrive, not including weekends. Approval timestamp: August 11, 2026 at 11:30 AM EDT Next recommended RepairShopr status: Customer Reply

Repair Portal Update Published Customer-facing status: Checked In Customer-facing diagnostic summary: Hello Gavin, I have completed my checks on your device and have news for you about your unit. Firstly thank you for providing that bitlocker key, sadly the drive only mounts as uninitialized. Which means the drive not longer mounts correctly, and this is most likely the cause of your original issues which was a failing drive. If the data on the drive is important and needs to be recovered, the drive would need to be assessed by a data recovery company. We do partner with a company called Gillware that offers free estimates on drives, and if data can be recovered using the in-store recovery machine we have from them, the cost for that is $350. Please keep in mind all options listed below do NOT include the Gillware data recovery if you choose to add that on as an option. I have some repair options listed before for your device based on the rest of our testing.
