TechSuite summary (internal — not shown to the customer)
DIAGNOSTIC SUMMARY FOR TICKET 69066 (CHAD HANDLEY) CRITICAL ISSUES DETECTED: - System File Checker failed: "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service" - indicates potential system file corruption or WRP service malfunction. Recommend manual SFC scan in Safe Mode or system repair. - View HDD SMART Info returned no data: "No drivers were found on this system" - SMART monitoring unavailable, unable to assess hard drive health status. Storage devices cannot be properly monitored for failure prediction. DISK SPACE ALERT: - Drive E:\ shows 0GB capacity (FAT format) - appears to be non-functional or uninitialized. Verify hardware status and consider reformatting or replacement if defective. - Multiple large external/secondary drives detected (D:\, F:\, G:\ ranging 131GB-1430GB) - verify these are intentional and not filling with unnecessary data. REPORT LIMITATIONS: - Most diagnostic tool outputs returned only CSS/styling code rather than actual results - suggests reporting system issue or tool execution failure. Unable to verify results for: HDD testing, battery health, blue screen history, app crashes, device manager status, startup applications, installed applications, HijackThis scan, and ProcessHawk analysis. RECOMMENDATION: Re-run diagnostics with attention to System File Checker repair, verify SMART driver availability, and investigate the reporting system issue preventing proper tool output capture. The E:\ drive status should be confirmed as hardware or configuration issue.
Options are shown to the customer as a ladder: your Recommended pick first, then the rest priciest to cheapest, with the Minimum last. Most options need no label at all — the price and your description carry them. Only one option should be Recommended.

Customer Approved Repair Through Portal Approved option: Minimum Approved price: $125.00 Customer-facing summary: We can resolve the issue with the detached base and charging port by fixing the metal bracket that covers them and putting back in a correct mounting screw and complete a thermal cleaning to resolve the temperature issues. This option would take about 1 business day to complete. Approval timestamp: August 11, 2026 at 4:22 PM EDT Next recommended RepairShopr status: Customer Reply

Published to the customer portal. Repair Portal Update Published Customer-facing status: Checked In Customer-facing diagnostic summary: Hello Chad, this is Anthony from The Computer Warriors. I have completed my checks on your device. I found that from the drop, it looks like one of the screws that hold the bottom case on over the charging port was missing prior to the drop and the drop caused the system to torque in a way to force the charging port out of it's holding position and push the base off, or the drop knocked the screw out and then allow the port to move as listed above. We were able to run our diagnostics by leaving the bottom case off and plug the charger directly into the charging port. We found no other major issues with the device other than temperatures are higher than we'd expect for system at idle, and our diagnostic system reported back that the internal SSD is passing all tests, but has reached it's read and write threshold and reporting wear indicators. This does not mean the drive is failing, but it has reached the point where it needs to report that it has passed it's read and write limits for wear leveling. When this happens, we always offer a drive replacement to help maintain system stability and prevent data loss or other issues that can arise from a failing or failed drive.
