Update customer portal

Changes here are what the customer sees. The customer is only sent their link when you press Publish.

Prefilled from the ticket subject — clean it up to what the customer should see.

Repair options (the quote)

Options are shown to the customer as a ladder: your Recommended pick first, then the rest priciest to cheapest, with the Minimum last. Most options need no label at all — the price and your description carry them. Only one option should be Recommended.

Save stores your work on the customer portal without notifying anyone. Preview saves, then shows you exactly what the customer will see. Publish locks it in, posts the quote to the RepairShopr ticket, and sets it to Quote Ready so the customer gets their link.

Documentation photos0/12

Photos of the device as it came in — pre-existing damage, condition, anything worth a record. These appear to the customer as soon as they upload. Remove one if it shouldn't be there.

We would backup the locally stored personal files on the device, wipe the drive and reinstall Windows 11 with doing all updates for Windows itself along with drivers for the system. We would then migrate the personal files back onto the unit.

    Customer-facing diagnostic summary:
Hello Ryan, this is Anthony from The Computer Warriors. We have completed our checks on your device to make sure there were no other hardware issues that would keep us from completing the data backup and reinstall on your device. During our checks we found two areas of hardware reports we wanted to make you aware of. The first is the system reports the battery life at fair with a health of 71%, which means the battery only holds about 3/4 of the original charge from it's first use. The second area is the internal SSD is passing tests, but is currently reporting wear indicators which means the drive is reporting to it's internal system that it is starting to wear out and is not able to do wear leveling correctly as the drive has run out of blocks to use for wear leveling. Below will be options for repair to replace the battery an drive and complete a reinstall with data transfer, and an option with just reinstall and data transfer.
