Customer replied via Repair Status Portal: I read Windows 12 is due put in 2027, would these upgrades enable continued use of this laptop? I already had purchased the drive when it started acting up What is lifespan of this laptop. Published to the customer portal. Repair Portal Update Published Customer-facing status: Checked In Customer-facing diagnostic summary: Your laptop has been crashing or closing programs unexpectedly quite often — we counted 81 of these incidents over the past 30 days. The good news is we didn't find any full system shutdowns or major crash events, and your battery is still holding a strong charge. Your main storage drive is now completely full, which can cause all kinds of issues including updates failing to properly complete and icons not loading, since the system needs free space to store and load things properly. Your laptop also has less memory (RAM) installed than we'd recommend for comfortable everyday use — even when just sitting idle, it's using 7GB of the 8GB you have, which slows the system down as it waits for resources to free up.
