Customer replied via Repair Status Portal: I've ordered a backup cable and its on the way for Monday. I can come in on Tuesday to test/compare it to my original plug and I'll pay for the dc port if necessary then. I'm going to put off any upgrades at the moment as I've been moving files around onto an external hardrive and would want to finish that first before upgrading the internal. Thank you very much 🖤 Received: August 1, 2026 at 11:56 AM EDT Ticket status set to: Customer Reply

Published to the customer portal. Repair Portal Update Published Customer-facing status: Checked In Customer-facing diagnostic summary: Hello Avant, we have completed our checks on your device and have multiple options listed below of what we've found during our checks on your device. During our checks, we found no major hardware or software issues with your device. We did find that the system only has 16GB of RAM total and is using roughly 55% to 65% at idle without any games running in the background. So when a game in launched, we are most likely getting into the 80% or higher range of RAM used. We would recommend upgrading this to 32GB to give the system more hardware resources to work with during games, which could lead to better overall performance during intense tasks. We also found the system has a 1TB SSD that is 93% full, and is getting low on space for new programs or applications to be installed as well as making it harder for the system to properly wear the SSD evenly to keep healthy long term. We would recommend either upgrading this to a larger size like 2TB or going through and removing unneeded games or files to free up space. As for the charging issues, we don't see any clear and obvious damage to the charging port in the system or the charger. We can see in the charger what looks to be apart of the metal collar inside missing, but without another exact charger to compare to we can only assume this is not correct and is highly likely the cause of your issues. Below will be multiple quotes for upgrades and repair. There are quote a few options, so take your time reading through them and if you have any questions, just text back and we'll answer them. Thank you. Customer-facing recommendation: (none) TechSuite report detected: Yes Diagnostic report visible to customer: No Customer notified: No
