Ticket #68890
Tomoko · HP ENVY Malicious application
Update customer portal
Changes here are what the customer sees. The customer is only sent their link when you press Publish.
Prefilled from the ticket subject — clean it up to what the customer should see.
Options are shown to the customer as a ladder: your Recommended pick first, then the rest priciest to cheapest, with the Minimum last. Most options need no label at all — the price and your description carry them. Only one option should be Recommended.
Save stores your work on the customer portal without notifying anyone. Preview saves, then shows you exactly what the customer will see. Publish locks it in, posts the quote to the RepairShopr ticket, and sets it to Quote Ready so the customer gets their link.
Photos of the device as it came in — pre-existing damage, condition, anything worth a record. These appear to the customer as soon as they upload. Remove one if it shouldn't be there.

Customer Approved Repair Through Portal Approved option: Recommended Approved price: $85.00 Customer-facing summary: We can completed a full system tuneup to remove all PUP's to get the system in a completely clean state, and then perform all Windows and driver updates. We would then complete a full scan with TrendMicro that is installed on the computer as well. Approval timestamp: July 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT Next recommended RepairShopr status: Customer Reply

Published to the customer portal. Repair Portal Update Published Customer-facing status: Checked In Customer-facing diagnostic summary: Hello Tomoko, we have completed our checks on your device and found no major issues with the unit. We did not find any Malicious software on the system or any viruses or malware. We did find multiple PUP's (Potentially Unwanted Programs), which some of those can increase chances for malicious popups to try and get you to install unneeded software or redirect you to sites you are not trying to go to. As for the touchscreen you asked about, my guess is the touchscreen itself has failed and would require the screen to be replaced to resolve this as we found no loose cables or damaged areas on the display itself or inside of the machine and all drivers for touch as installed in the system. Customer-facing recommendation: (none) TechSuite report detected: No Diagnostic report visible to customer: No Customer notified: No
