Update customer portal

Changes here are what the customer sees. The customer is only sent their link when you press Publish.

Prefilled from the ticket subject — clean it up to what the customer should see.

Repair options (the quote)

Options are shown to the customer as a ladder: your Recommended pick first, then the rest priciest to cheapest, with the Minimum last. Most options need no label at all — the price and your description carry them. Only one option should be Recommended.

Save stores your work on the customer portal without notifying anyone. Preview saves, then shows you exactly what the customer will see. Publish locks it in, posts the quote to the RepairShopr ticket, and sets it to Quote Ready so the customer gets their link.

Documentation photos0/12

Photos of the device as it came in — pre-existing damage, condition, anything worth a record. These appear to the customer as soon as they upload. Remove one if it shouldn't be there.

    Customer-facing diagnostic summary:
This device would not turn on until we unplugged the battery and performed a power reset. After completing the power reset and plugging the battery back in, the device started up with no issues. With that said, our diagnostics show that your battery is way below a healthy threshold and should be replaced. With your battery at this level, this would explain the built-in diagnostic lights blinking the way they were. Additionally, we noticed that your event viewer hasn't been logging any information since the 16th of this month, which could be a sign of a corrupt operating system, and we would suggest performing a tune-up. If this tune-up does not fix the problem, you will not be charged additionally for the tune-up.

    Customer-facing diagnostic summary:
When we checked out your laptop, we found a harmful virus and two programs that were designed to let someone access your computer from far away without your permission. The good news is they weren't actively being used at the moment, but they definitely could have been. I've already removed all of these threats for you.

I also noticed you have three different security programs running at the same time—Norton, Malwarebytes, and ours. Here's what happens with that: when multiple security programs run together, they actually get in each other's way and don't work as well as they should. We'd recommend keeping just one of them installed and running.
